The Way of the Wildcard
AN ORIGINAL FORMAT TO ENGAGE YOUNGER AUDIENCES
Red Bull were looking for ways to engage a new, younger audience. We developed, cast and produced The Way of The Wildcard, a format focusing on phenomenal characters and their stories of achieving success despite their unconventional and unexpected backgrounds. Two series and 7 episodes later, the format has won critical acclaim, smashed targets and helped Red Bull find that elusive new audience.
CONNECTING ACROSS CHANNELS
We conceived and developed two unique social formats, designed specifically for Instagram and Facebook, that were delivered alongside each episode. These social formats allowed us to take the format to new channels and engage a broader audience.
The series successfully engaged a younger audience across Red Bull channels and achieved national PR coverage through outlets such as Sky TV. It has been awarded by Brand Storytelling at Sundance, Realscreen (x2), Kinsale Sharks and received a coveted Grierson British Documentary nomination.
